As it is often said, "All great projects come with extraordinary clients."

The project came with a visionary client. They envisioned a spacious farmhouse with modern design aesthetic coupled with contemporary materials. To achieve this, we went with clean and bold geometries, and a mix of concrete and exposed brickwork.

As a vacation retreat, the farmhouse consists of large flowing spaces, interlaced by open spaces all around. The use of arches to articulate the openings grounded the building in the local context. The expansive exposed brickwork walls also act as fins which cut direct sun into the building creating a more comfortable environment within the house during summers.

The size of the site allowed us to create beautiful landscaped open spaces which can accommodate large gatherings, one of the primary requirements of the client.
