Public Convenience

Across the evolving urban fabric of Lucknow, a new public convenience system is taking form—
a network of thoughtfully designed nodes that blend social infrastructure with contemporary civic imagination.

The project introduces shaded public seating, curved community benches, mobile-charging points, WiFi connectivity, and well-lit waiting areas that remain welcoming day and night. Clean male and female toilets, drinking-water facilities, and clearly placed first-aid kits strengthen safety and dignity for all users.

Solar panels support energy efficiency, while CCTV surveillance enhances the sense of security.
A compact convenience counter activates the frontage, encouraging micro-commerce and community interaction.

These structures carry vibrant public-awareness graphics—on education, inclusion, digital empowerment, cultural heritage, and social wellbeing—transforming the bus-stop typology into a civic learning environment. At night, the soft glow of integrated lighting turns each hub into a warm, visible anchor along the street edge.

Designed as accessible, multipurpose, human-scaled spaces, these hubs offer more than utility;
they cultivate comfort, connection, and a renewed sense of belonging in the public realm.

Lucknow moves forward with these small yet powerful urban gestures—
quiet engines of dignity, resilience, and everyday ease.
